Allow me to introduce my extremely talented daughter Maggie who is accepting CHARCOAL PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS this summer before she starts her college journey.
After years of instruction on composition and drawing in the style of the masters, Maggie is finally letting me introduce her amazing work to the world.
A whole lot of national and state level awards as well as scholarships have been given to Maggie over the years... as she is far more talented than her mother. Talent as well as years of studying art have allowed Maggie to find joy in creating portraits that capture the likeness but more importantly, the essence of a person.
Accepting an award at The Atlanta Dogwood Festival
Pick a favorite photo of your loved one and she will work directly from that.
Choose a photo that shows the sparkle in your child's eye, their adorable dimples, or that mischievous smile. If you have a photo of multiple people you'd like to work with, that is possible too. She is happy to help you decide which photo is best and guide the process.
A peek into a work in progress
All portraits are done on 80 lb acid free paper, created in charcoal, then perfectly preserved with charcoal fixative to keep them safe and dust free.
Completion window is 2-3 weeks
