Alexis and her sister Alexa were big tomboys at heart, which bothered their fashionable mother. When the prom came around, the girls did their best to impress their mother - and boy, did they ever! They chose matching French Blue gowns with a slight shimmer of green and wore them with poise for their special day!
This piece has lots of visual texture due to the use of large brushes and a palette knife to create it. Below the layers of blue, one can see a hint of pretty greens.
The painting "floats" in an unfinished natural wood frame which is 1.5" deep, giving the piece a finished look.
